the thrilling white wall challenge in episode three was by far my favorite yet! with one thousand dollars worth of groceries and two paint colors, each designer transformed a blank 10 x 10 room containing bland furniture into a lively living room. with oranges, milk, oatmeal, and rice, nathan galui kicked some major booty!
i've always admired nate's ability to focus; he's so systematic in his design and execution. while i often find myself doing a little bit of this and a little bit of that, nate does all of this and then all of that. he created a fabulous capiz style chandelier with oranges, basted the walls with milk and primer, graffitied the sofa, and covered the floor with rice and oats. with a design in the top three, nathan's modern graphic room knocked the socks off the judges and me!
