i'm back! and although re-entry is tough, especially after the perfect week on cape cod, it's giveaway time and i'm raring to go!
so here's the skinny... raenovate has teamed up with the etsy shop 'the best things' and we're offering you the opportunity to win your favorite item in their entire store! simply visit their fabulous shop, choose your most desired item (reserved items are off-limits), and comment here on raenovate which item you'd love to win and where you would display it in your home. commenting is open until nine am friday morning when the winner will be chosen at random.

i choose the toile tin, i'd love for it to live on the ledge in my kitchen, boasting its beautiful colors!

  1. ooh, the mod candleabra! http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=26769366

I'd love it on one of the few surfaces in our little studio, perhaps the windowsill would work best (:

  2. I heart the hobnail bottle. I am getting married soon and we have just begun furniture shopping for our new house. This would be the perfect little addition to sit on the vanity I just purchased for my guest bedroom! http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=30543699

  3. The cork desk organizer for me...I have been shopping for the perfect pencil holder forever for my desk at work, and as I am launching a new "Go Green" initiative in my work section, this would be perfect to display as a "lead by example" example!

  4. I love the cute Mr. Owl. I was a Chi Omega in college and the owl is our sorority's "mascot" or symbol. I am always looking for cute little owl decorations to display. I would put it on my desk in my bedroom next to my Chi O letters! http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=22924586

  5. Peter Pauper's Puzzles and Posers looks intriguing to me! Rather than display it, I would probably do the puzzles myself and then bring it to the tutoring center where I work.

  8. i also love the mod candelabra...it would be perfect at the end of my dining room table...I have one end against the wall and need something with height to "ground" the end of the table (and my sad little paper napkins just won't do:) if i had to choose an alternate, it would have to be the panda mug...it's just too random and cute!

  9. I would have to say the bold red wooden bowl caught my eye immediately. I have an idea already for a room and it consist of all black and white...and the red bowl would be the amazing pop of color I need to add in those little special places! The hints of red will add passion, desire, strength, and boldnesss all of which is much needed! AND THE BEST THING!!!! I know where I can get paisley black and white decorative balls for the bowl! and if anyone knows me that is right up my alley...

my second favorite is defintely the ruffled vase... I would also be able to use that as a pop of color and to store all the flowers that my boyfriend sends me from Iraq :)

  21. although the horse door knocker is tempting (it says it's "perfect for anyone who likes things that are wonderful" ...which clearly I do), I'm going to go with the turquoise plates.

nowhere to put them, being homeless and all right now...but i would hope to one day put them on a mantle with some candles perhaps.
