hollywood hills kitchen

carla lane is the quintessential interior designer. the new jersey native (what, what!) launched her residential los angeles based firm, carla lane interiors, in 2006. since then she’s been creating eclectic traditional interiors, including today’s transformed kitchen, a hollywood hills sensation.
lane redesigned what was originally a dated, cramped cookery into an upbeat food preparation haven. by removing a wall and adding large sliding glass doors, the space now boasts a light-filled open floor plan. a modern aesthetic is suggested with lane’s spot-on material and furniture specifications. the breakfast nook is outfitted with clementine beads fabric from hable construction and the odyssey table from CB2.

i'd especially like to thank carla lane for sharing this project with us; from one jersey girl to another, you go girl!

  2. Besides a fantastic redo, Carla's staging is a genius! The display of Cracker Jacks, Campbell's Soup and Pellegrino is simply brilliant!
