ZED fresh bath

what do you get when you combine a classic craftsman bathroom designed by famed architect, james h. ritchie, with a group of innovative boston designers? today's fabulous redesign by ZeroEnergy design, located in newton centre, massachusetts!
the original bathroom hadn't had any significant updates since its creation. with a lack of storage, no countertops, the original toilet, a small sink, and a dark narrow shower, the homeowner craved a bright master bathroom with a tub, daily use shower and closet space. by shifting the bathroom into an adjacent sun-porch and converting the old lavatory into a walk-in closet, the ZED team was able to create the master bath of their clients' dreams.
the new dornbracht fixtures, urban archaeology tile, kohler tub, and cambria quartz countertops not only enhance ritchie's original design, but compliment the ZED aesthetic. rub-a-dub-dub!

i would like to thank emile chin-dickey at ZeroEnergy design for submitting this terrific renovation! the after photos were shot by the brilliant michael j lee and the construction performed by sustainable construction. between this showstopper and the slipcover your life's stitchery giveaway, i can hardly contain myself.
