as the unofficial east coast correspondent for the
2010 san francisco decorator showcase, i’m elated to reveal
siol studios’ transformation of the mansion’s indoor/outdoor play space. designed through the eyes of a five year old, the space encourages adaptability and allows for growth. with designated areas for shared time and alone time, performance and reflection, and creation and observation the room is better than a kindergarten classroom. what’s best is the sustainability of the outdoor space. with a wind tribune, a rainwater catchment device, solar heating tubes, and plants native to california, the space is a green dream. the decorator showcase is only open for one more week, get in there while you can!
