santa monica based interiors firm,
velvet hammerschmidt design recently remodeled a grand daddy of a house. located in the pacific palisades, the 7,500 square foot whopper received a head to toe makeover for its energetic family of four. by tweaking the layout and opening up many of the rooms, hammerschmidt and her team introduced fluidity to the residence. textured fabrics, soft geometric patterns and contemporary art from the homeowner's private collection add interest and dimension to each room; while the new state of the art cookery featuring
wood mode custom cabinetry as well as
wolf and
sub-zero appliances create the heart of the home.
