palisades master suite

it’s friday and our favorite santa monica based interiors firm, velvet hammerschmidt design, is back with a palisades master suite makeover! lacking spice the spacious suite was aching to be created into a curry. hammerschmidt and her team introduced a rich color palette with deep golden-brown and taupe paint, and crisp white, creamy beige, and soft blue upholstery, drapery, and bedding. the furniture’s soft, transitional details encourage the busy family to sit back and relax in their hotel-like oasis. my favorite hot spot is the sitting room, with patterned golden mocha wallpaper, distressed walnut floors, and a rich fireplace surround it makes me want to curl up with a good book.
