southern california master bathroom

never in my life did i think i would ask for a toilet for christmas, but when you buy a house at the beginning of december and rip out your existing bathroom before the holidays, you ask santa claus for a shiny new porcelain throne.
speaking of fresh sparkling lavatories, i’m in love with velvet hammerschmidt design’s recent southern california bathroom redo. gray and green glass tiles combine with tumbled travertine and donghia’s leaf-patterned vinyl wallcovering, to create this warm and unique transitional master bathroom. high contrast ebonized rift oak cabinets, white marble countertops, and chrome fixtures also make the distinctive finish palette pop. like the old russian proverb says, jealousy and love are sisters.

i would once again like to thank aviva fersht of velvet hammerschmidt design for submitting their classy california renovations.

  2. Your take on this bathroom remodel is insightful, and I love the before and after pictures! What a difference changing up the tile can make. I came across your post this morning while browsing interior design blogs and your take on interior décor is exquisite. This bathroom is cool and fresh, especially relaxing during a long bath on a cold day. Window treatments are the perfect way to blend with the decor of a bathroom and add intimacy and privacy at the same time. It is true that you must dress your windows appropriately to bring out their true beauty. Thank you for writing and as a special thanks to you and your readers, I would like to offer a 20% off coupon using this code upon checkout: BLG20.
