the idea of birthing triplets is something that would ordinarily terrify me, but then i saw today’s nursery designed for a family with triplets and i’m all, “i want three babies, at once!”
marsh & clark design transformed the third-floor attic bedroom for the
2010 san francisco decorator showcase (open through the end of the month). the grand 1930’s french normandy-style mansion received a head to toe makeover from
marsh & clark design,
charles de lisle workshop, and an array of san francisco’s hottest interior designers.
the nursery showcases three matching, hand-crafted cribs, created by local craftsman,
rob taboada. taboada specially designed the cribs to keep the babies happy and healthy with toxin-free materials and FSC-certified sustainably-harvested hardwood. three custom chandeliers float above the cribs, washing the powder-blue room in a warm glow, doubling as modern mobiles. additional design elements include thomas pedersen’s
stringray rocking chair, 100% wool, un-dyed carpet, non-voc paint,
sferra blankets and
holland and sherry cashmere throws. triplets here i come!
