we've "broken ground" on our guest bedroom renovation and while its completion date is TBD (we leave for our wedding and honeymoon in two and a half weeks) it feels good to be creating. much like our master bedroom renovation, we're removing the carpeting and putting down maple flooring, dry walling over the plaster, installing crown moulding, and replacing the doors with period appropriate 5 paneled beauts. driven by martha stewart's color, spring melt, i expect the room to be bright and misty, reminiscent of ruschmeyer's; and filled with the spirit that my pooled inspiration photos display. what do you think?Monday, September 26, 2011

Oh! I can't wait to see the after! I can't believe your wedding/honeymoon is SO close, I bet you are so excited! So wish I could be there!
ReplyDeleteI still can't believe you're tackling this project so close to the wedding, but I adore all of your inspiration. This guest room of yours is going to be as fabulous as the other rooms you've finished. (I REALLY can't wait to see what you do with the kitchen.)
ReplyDeleteThe colors are so tranquil! I really love the gold poufs and the starburst piece above the bed in the first photo. Good luck with the renovation (i love seeing what you guys do!), and even more luck on your special wedding weekend!
