not every gal in her mid-twenties admits to being a 'wainscoting enthusiast' but i wear the title proudly. it's my all time favorite wall treatment, i appreciate the proportions, and i value the history. as does graphic designer, jenna sue! jenna sue and her husband brad are renovating their florida home and wainscoting it up along the way. so far they've outfitted their foyer and dining nook and i'm hooked!

If I owned my apartment, I would put wainscoting everywhere. It just gives rooms such a fresh, clean look. Rachel, you should see my friend Paul's place. The previous owner added all this molding and wainscoting to the rooms, but did so on top of this strange textured wallpaper. It's a disaster.
ReplyDeleteI'm not in my mid 20's anymore but I do love wainscoting. I think it improves nearly every space, as evidenced by the rooms above which are beautiful.

I'm so with you! Wanted to also say that I popped in and followed along your honeymoon adventure! It looked like you had such a fabulous time and it brought back some memories of my childhood vacations up at Lake Tahoe.
