cherry hill kitchen

there is nothing more satisfying than working with my husband. the fact that i envision something and he makes it come to life, thrills me every time. our latest collaboration was at the home of our good friend, an all-around nice guy and eligible bachelor. he bought his condo last year and while high-end design is not at the top of his priority list, a functional, good looking kitchen is.
the existing space was filled with the cabinets that every american student had in their college apartment kitchen, a top mount sink, and a peach polished-stone backsplash, they clearly all had to go. the existing floor and appliances, however, were in great shape, so we worked around them. without dramatically altering our client’s checking account, or the kitchen’s layout, a new bright cookery was born. we used home depot’s stock white cabinetry, martha stewart’s dolphin wall paint, a stainless rectangular undermount sink, silestone countertop in grey expo, new fixtures, and my personal favorite, a ceramic tile back-splash in indigo blue with white grout lines. if i was a bachelorette and saw this bachelor’s kitchen, it might just seal the deal ;)

i would especially like to thank my husband, tyler grace, for bringing my designs to life and capturing these before and after photos courtesy of trg home concepts.

  2. Nicely done! The appliances look so much better in stark contrast to white cabinetry and the gray silestone with the undermount stainless sink raise it the notch that it needed.

  3. Excellent job, Rach! I kinda wish I could buy a little place and hand over the keys to the two of you to renovate as you see fit. You are both seriously talented!
