we've "broken ground" on our home office renovation and while its completion date is TBD (built-in cabinetry doesn't create itself overnight) it feels good to be getting down and dirty. much like our master and guest bedroom renos, we're removing the carpeting and putting down maple flooring, dry walling over the plaster, installing crown moulding and adding a fancy moulding extra (a coffered ceiling)! what i'm most excited about is the nook we're creating for a built-in desk and shelving!
our design decisions are being driven by the fact that when we're blessed with a bambino, this room will become their nursery too! we've chosen benjamin moore's creamy beige for the walls, in hopes for a bright and happy space; and pooled the photos below for inspiration. how do you like them apples?

Dear Rae, I LOVE them apples and am excited to see the progress and outcome! And when you are blessed with a bambino, please have a comfortable chair for me to rock my grand-baby in.

I had to read this post 5 times before I noticed the word "when"...

...as I was too busy freaking out with excitement that you had a bambino on the way...and then, I saw the "when".
Love the ideas! Can't wait to see the final product! Love you guys!
