rising hill renovation

award winning interior designer allison jaffe is back with an impressive rising hills renovation! the texas residence was dripping with 1980s throwbacks like floral wallpaper, popcorn ceilings, terracotta tiles, and bright brass fixtures. jaffe’s goal was to modernize the home by thirty years and create a functional family-oriented space for entertaining. while each room is clearly defined, walls were removed to create an openness that previously didn’t exist.
in the kitchen and master bathroom, the use of natural materials like travertine, onyx and glass create a warm and inviting environment. combine these finishes with each space’s modern lines and you’ve got yourself the quintessential transitional texas home.

i would especially like to thank ms. allison jaffe of allison jaffe interior design for submitting her awe-inspiring renovations. the after photos were shot by brio photography.
