to quote the classic 90's film, can't hardly wait, "these are memories frozen in time, people!". the 2012 san francisco decorator showcase may have closed its doors for the season, but with all the photographs we have designs frozen in time! kathy geissler best's showcase territory was jack's bedroom, room the the home's male teenage resident. kathy wanted to create a space that was half entertaining man cave, half edgy reflection spot. with pieces like porto romano's balloon lamp, the decor is sophisticated and playful at the same time, creating a design that was meant to be frozen in time.
i would especially like to thank my good friend roberto tiscareno of open marketing for submitting this breathtaking san francisco transformation on behalf of kgb interior design.
Wow, what an amazing room! So mature for a teen - I'm definitely going to use this as inspiration for a guest room.
ReplyDeleteThe window wall is just incredible.
ReplyDeleteBut are those two doors either side of the bookshelf wardrobes? Otherwise the room has 3 doors!? huh?
Love that headboard. This is such a great space for a teenager. Mature but playful. Kudos.
