added character in daybreak!

the oprah winfrey quote, “surround yourself only with people who are going to lift you higher” has been pinned like wildfire on pinterest lately. and i couldn’t help but be reminded of it when i learned that tiek built homes’ recent remodel was performed for their good friends. because really, the tiek’s friends have done an excellent job of taking oprah’s words to heart.
after recently purchasing a track home in the daybreak sustainable community of the salt lake valley, the homeowners and tiek’s friends fell in love with the neighborhood, but felt that their house needed some character. and no one does character better than steven and allison tiek of tiek built homes. they fixed awkward openings, added trim details to the doorways and windows, upped the lighting with cans and sconces, and introduced a fresh color palette. making the home, daybreak’s finest.
