baby shower before + afters

in our latest party planning undertaking, jen woolston and i learned that styling a space for an event can create a transformation just as dramatic as redecorating a room. thrown at a dazzling waterfront home in rumson new jersey, the gathering was in honor of jen and her soon to be baby. we had a GORGEOUS setting to work with and with a few tricks of the trade it turned out to be even more stunning than we had hoped.

we snapped the before photos in early spring before the foliage filled in and the winter décor shipped out. the wildly talented kate connolly captured the afters.
