today's texas transformation, led by dallas-based interior designer, emily johnston larkin of ej interiors, showcases her modern take on traditional design. her aesthetic is the perfect combination of sophistication, progression and color awareness. and at the featured fallen residence she's certainly accentuated both her strengths and the homes'!

happy birthday, padgett!

in honor of miss padgett hoke's birthday, i have chosen a bathroom transformation that is guaranteed to float her birthday boat! located in st. louis park, minnesota, anna berglin design, inc. demolished the existing pink bathroom and replaced its contents with gleaming, bright white pieces. i suspect that padgett's favorite details will be the subway tile wainscoting and metal washstands, just as they are mine! happy birthday, padgett, and thanks again to krystal kellermann of anna berglin design for submitting redesigns from their minnesota firm!

exterior renovations tend to make my jaw drop even lower than interior ones. what can i say, i also judge books by their covers. a recent exterior renovation by anna berglin design has gotten me really excited. she and her team turned a plain jane tract home into a curb appeal boasting showpiece. gable dormers, a carriage style garage door, new siding, and stone work are just a few of the incredible changes. the result is truly dramatic…night and day, dramatic!
