we’re starting 2012 off with a before + after bang! susan hughes of manhattan’s modify interiors has recently completed a head to toe renovation of a cozy one bedroom apartment in chelsea. crying for updated finishes and an organizational overhaul, susan entered the picture at the perfect time. first, she gutted. next, she added storage by opening up the kitchen to the living room and adding a large closet in the bedroom. and finally, she adorned, specifying high-end finishes, a serene color palette and perfectly scaled furnishings. the chelsea co-op shines, feeling much larger than your typical nyc one bedroom home and looking far more enchanting.
